Fran Wheeler

MFH and Whipper in

After moving to Tennessee in 1999, Fran stepped into the world of foxhunting. Drawing on her past riding career in eventing, she easily transitioned from eventing to the rhythm and tradition of the hunt field. Her natural feel for hounds, her steady horsemanship, and her deep respect for the sport’s heritage has made her a valued member of the community.

Over the years, Fran’s dedication has grown into true leadership. She whips‑in for the foxhounds, bringing sharp instincts, reliability, and a calm presence to every hunt. Her commitment extends beyond the mounted field as well: she also serves as a Joint Master for the Upper Bay Basset Foot Pack, helping guide the pack’s operations, support its members, and preserve the traditions of basset hunting.

A semi‑retired veterinarian, Fran continues to give back in one of the most meaningful ways possible - by providing veterinary care for both the foxhound and basset packs. Her medical expertise, paired with her lifelong love of hounds, ensures that the animals at the heart of the sport receive exceptional care.

With decades of experience, a servant‑leader’s heart, and a devotion to hounds and hunting, Fran remains a cornerstone of the community and a steward of the sport’s future.

Sarah Cieslukowski

MFH

Sarah’s journey into foxhunting began the way many of the best stories do — with curiosity, borrowed tack, and a willingness to show up long before she fully understood what she was stepping into. What started as a simple desire to ride with purpose quickly grew into a deep respect for the sport, the land, and the community that makes foxhunting possible.

Though her tenure in the field is not as long‑standing as that of many seasoned hunters, her work ethic, steady presence, and natural ability to bring people together distinguished her early on. These qualities ultimately led to her appointment as Master of Foxhounds, a role she carries with equal parts gratitude and responsibility.

Sarah believes that foxhunting thrives when everyone feels they have a place in it. Her leadership reflects that conviction — grounded in inclusivity, respect for tradition, and a commitment to ensuring the sport’s future remains strong, welcoming, and well‑stewarded.

Zsa Zsa Beauchene

Jr. MFH

A third‑generation foxhunter, Zsa Zsa has been immersed in the sport from a young age and carries a deep respect for its traditions. Growing up surrounded by good horses, seasoned hounds, and the rhythm of hunt mornings, she developed an early understanding of the etiquette, responsibility, and stewardship that define mounted foxhunting.

As a Junior Master, Zsa Zsa brings that heritage forward with purpose and dedication. She is committed to supporting the hunt in every capacity — strengthening landowner relationships, welcoming new riders, assisting in the field, and helping preserve the values that have shaped fox hunting for generations. Her leadership is grounded in service, community, and a genuine love for the hounds and the land they work across.

With her deep roots in the sport and her passion for its future, Zsa Zsa represents the next generation of foxhunting leadership: knowledgeable, capable, and devoted to ensuring a strong and vibrant future for Holston Hounds.

Vicki Jonkers

Honorary Secretary

Vicki’s foxhunting journey began at the remarkable age of six, when she first rode out with the Blue Ridge Hunt. From those early mornings in the field, she developed a deep and lasting love for the sport — one that would shape her life and her service to the hunting community for decades to come. Her dedication and horsemanship earned her colors with Blue Ridge, where she also contributed her time and expertise as a member of the Board and Treasurer, helping support the hunt’s operations and long‑term stability.

Her passion for hounds and hunting led her to ride extensively with Snickersville Hounds and Piedmont Fox Hounds in Northern Virginia, two well-respected packs in the region. Her commitment and skill were recognized there as well, earning her colors with Snickersville Hounds and buttons with Piedmont Fox Hounds — distinctions that reflect both her experience and the respect she holds within the hunting community.

Today, Vicki brings this lifetime of knowledge, service, and tradition to her role as Honorary Hunt Secretary, where her organizational skill, historical perspective, and unwavering dedication continue to strengthen and support the hunt will be invaluable. Her decades of involvement across multiple storied packs make her an important addition to our team.
